Display your fresh cut blooms in a handmade vase! Each participant will make their own vase using slab building techniques. This technique is great for spontaneous cloud-like shapes (white vase in image) or more traditional designs (green vase in image). The teacher will finish the planters for you; this includes drying, bisque-firing, glazing and glaze-firing each piece. All materials included. Projects will be fired and ready for pickup 4 weeks after the date of the class.

This workshop is part of our Spring to Summer Grow Series: growing our understanding of clay from the beginning of Spring to the start of Summer, all with flowers and plants in mind! With a different plant related workshop each weekend, we hope to offer a variety of projects, techniques and clays. Check our website each month for the one that meets your gardening needs! Cancellation Policy: (This all applies even in a COVID related situation so please only purchase a class with us if you are aware that we are unable to make any exceptions to this policy beyond the parameters listed below.) All sales are final; we do not grant refunds. Classes or workshops can only be exchanged for credit towards another class or workshop given it is done at least one week (7 days) prior to the start date of said class or workshop. Cancellations made within 7 days of the start date are not guaranteed credit or the ability to be rescheduled. This also applies to canceled private classes. Credit must be put towards a class or workshop within 6 months after purchase. After 6 months all credit, including unscheduled private lessons and open studio passes, is forfeited.
